About the LCC

My Photo
Tanya Eldert
My name is Tanya Eldert and I started the job as the local Cultural Care Au Pair Coordinator for the Virginia Beach area in the summer of 2003. Because the area has grown so much, my husband, Mike has joined me as a LCC to help out. I'd like to take a moment to introduce our family to the families and au pairs in the area. I'm a mother to an adorable 9 year old little girl and two rescued dogs. Mike's full-time job is working for Sentara as an RN in the Emergency Room, he also rides volunteer EMS in Virginia Beach. We have also hosted au pairs from Czech Republic, Germany and Peru and have loved the experience of creating a 'world-wide family' for ourselves and our daughter. Both of us are community oriented and spend many hours working with local non-profits and volunteering throughout Hampton Roads. We very excited about meeting and working with area au pairs and their families. The opportunity to meet other area families and be introduced to different cultures through visiting au pairs is one of the reasons we do this job.
